The Blue Room by David Hare opened on Broadway at the Cort Theatre Dec 13, 1998 and played through Feb 25, 1999.

Starring Nicole Kidman and Iain Glen.

Produced by The Shubert Organization, Scott Rudin, Robert Fox, Roger Berlind and ABC, Inc.

Directed by Sam Mendes, Scenic and Costume Design by Mark Thompson; Lighting Design by Hugh Vanstone with Sound Design by Scott Myers.

David Hare’s adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s La Ronde, concerns a daisy-chain series of sexual encounters, with an actor and an actress portraying five characters each. Bringing satiric wit to scenes of romance, sex, isolation and hypocrisy, Hare constructs a window on the most complex of human relationships.

As Founder and CEO of and  The pioneer in moving the Broadway industry onto the internet.  What started in 1989 as a service called ShowCall via dialup BBS for members of the League of American Theatre Producers evolved onto the world wide web in 1993, and shortly after this,  the vast majority of Broadway shows (starting with Victor/Victoria) and theatrical organizations followed.
