The Civil War opened at The St. James Theatre on Broadway on Apr 22, 1999 and played through Jun 13, 1999.  By Gregory Boyd and Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and music by Frank Wildhorn.

Produced by Pierre Cossette, PACE Theatrical Group, Inc., SFX Entertainment, Inc., Bomurwil Productions, Kathleen Raitt and Jujamcyn Theaters.  Directed by Jerry Zaks; Associate Director: B.T. McNicholl; Musical Staging by Luis Perez.  Scenic Design by Douglas W. Schmidt; Costume Design by William Ivey Long; Lighting Design by Paul Gallo; Sound Design by Karl Richardson and Projection Design by Wendall K. Harrington.

Starring Larry Gatlin, Bebe Winans, John Ayres, Moses Braxton Jr., Mike Eldred, Steve Gannon, Dawana Gudger-Richardson, Keith Byron Kirk, Michael Lanning, Debra Winans, Royal Reed, Clay Roberts, Amy Rutberg, Roy Richardson Jr., Carolyn Saxon, Bart Shatto and Marlayna Syms.

Centers on the American Civil War, portraying the war through Union, Confederate, and slave viewpoints.

As Founder and CEO of and  The pioneer in moving the Broadway industry onto the internet.  What started in 1989 as a service called ShowCall via dialup BBS for members of the League of American Theatre Producers evolved onto the world wide web in 1993, and shortly after this,  the vast majority of Broadway shows (starting with Victor/Victoria) and theatrical organizations followed.
