The Who’s Tommy, based on The Who’s seminal 1969 rock album of the same name, tells the story of Tommy Walker in post WWII London (from 1940 to 1963). The 1993 Broadway touring version of this classic rock opera served as the Broadway debut for Michael Cerveris, Tommy. The production also featured such Broadway notables as Norm Lewis, Alice Ripley and Sherri Rene Scott.
